Calculator inputs
Numbers entered into the public calculator are processed by JavaScript in your browser. The site package does not include a server endpoint for sending or saving calculator inputs. Do not enter personally identifying or medical records into the number fields.
Accounts, cookies and analytics
No account is required to use PepSplain. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-focused aggregate page views, traffic sources and site performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or collect personal data about individual visitors.
We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page views, scrolls, guide navigation, calculator engagement and outbound-link activity. GA4 may use cookies and process technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages and visited URLs. Google signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in our site configuration. PepSplain does not send calculator field names, calculator values, entered amounts, personal information or health information in its custom analytics events. Our calculator-engagement event records only that a visitor interacted with the calculator at least once during that page view.
Analytics measurements are separate from calculator inputs, which remain in your browser. The website does not intentionally store your calculator entries or create a health profile from them. Cloudflare and Google may process data under their own privacy policies.
Hosting and network logs
Cloudflare Pages and related infrastructure can receive routine technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times and security signals to provide, protect and operate the website. No claim is made here about how long Cloudflare retains particular logs; refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links to external services are governed by their own privacy practices. We will clearly identify sister-site links when they become available.
Future changes
If we later add advertising, newsletter subscriptions, new analytics providers, social integrations or embedded news, this policy will be updated to explain any additional collection or sharing.
